Under the passing of a brilliant sunset we made it to Sunnyside Washington. Carl and two excited nieces met us out front, wearing princess helmets and waving an American flag (in Carl's defense he himself was not wearing a princess helmet, although that would have been cute). We popped champagne in celebration. And even managed to carve out a sliver of space for our bikes in a very Walther like garage, where they will rest for a few days.
