Day 58 Darby to Ranch Party

I think I have mentioned previously that there are two forces that bring our biking to a halt: breweries and farmer's markets. This might be why we are taking so long to exit Darby, a small town of about a couple thousand people and one main street surrounded by ranches. It has both an excellent micro brewery (50 gallon system) that supports only a tap room (which was packed last night when we were there) and an amazing farmers market which we attempted to stop by quickly on our way to Missoula this morning. However, at the farmer's market we ran into the LA/San Francisco/New York crew who we met last night at the brewery. One of them has this family ranch (supposedly designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the only ranch he designed), she invited us to come stay on the ranch and party with them tonight. Because saying "Yes!" to everything is the mantra that has kept this trip interesting we are now at Alpine Meadow Ranch, which is neither alpine nor a meadow but something else altogether.
