I have spent a great deal of time this summer in awe of natural beauty, but the geysers and thermal pools we saw today were completely unworldly. Unlike any natural force I have ever seen the acqua colored pools spraying and bubbling boiling liquid reminded me that yes in fact I am on top of an active volcano, something I hadn't really thought about since coming to Yellowstone.
Also, we saw bison today, lots of them (Nik is better at capturing pictures of wildlife so hopefully he will post his pictures at some point).
