We made it to St. Louis. Now that the ride is over I can honestly say it was one of our easiest days of biking. Basically, all flat on good roads (past lots of corn of course, saw some interesting devices for spraying) and the heat has broken a bit. And no flats and or spills!

We crossed over the Eads Bridge which took us straight from  Illinois to Missouri with great views of the arch and the Mississippi all along. Went directly to the tap room at Schlafly for beers.

In St. Louis we are staying with Brook's good friend, Julie, who was so sweet and kind to welcome in to her home despite the hell that we looked liked when we landed on her doorstep (remember that in addition  to all the biking we have been camping since Nashville and look and smell like it).
