An overtly political post

Some of you may have noticed this picture from Molly's post a few days ago.  Some shady looking used car dealership in Valdese, NC was flying these currently defunct flags in the front of their office.  This was the day after South Carolina finally decided to stop being quite as overtly racist as that state has been in the past and took down the flag at the Robert Lee memorial in front of their statehouse.

I have two thoughts:

First, if someone in South Carolina had had even two brain cells to rub together and wanted to keep flying the flag of Treason in Defense of Chattel Slavery with the excuse that the flag is about Southeh'n Heh'tage or some such b*llshit, they probably could have just lowered the flag to half mast like EVERY OTHER FLAG IN THE STATE, and I would give good odds that the legislature wouldn't have voted to take down the flag in the first place.

Second, the owner of the car dealership, and every other joker I've seen who is currently flying a Southern Swastika flag from the back of their pick up, is missing a very important flag that truly represents a bit of Southern Heritage.  In fact, it is the only flag that the Cause of Treason in Defense of Chattel Slavery ever flew that is still relevant today.
