Day 12

Day total 90
Trip total 672

Virginia country roads treated us well today, until they didn't and became a very ardous dirt road. We made to to Bear Creek Lake State Park and jumped into the lake immediately upon arrival which was everything you could expect after 8 hours of biking in the sun (the lady 40 miles pretty quickly because we were afraid the park would close). A park ranger came to yell at us and tell us no swimming when the life guards are not around. Fortunately, we had time to throw our clothing on before being yelled at by the ranger. The only thing more awkward than encountering the white southern superiority complex, is doing so naked.
