As we are getting into longer days of biking with less rest days it is getting harder to keep up with the blog. Now that we are in very rural Virginia we are spending all non biking time Googling where to stay next. For tonight we had the good fortune of stumbling upon south boston (Virginia that is) Inn and grill, where the very nice owner/former math teacher in India, kindly let us stash our bikes in a discounted room. Also, there is a pool!
Also, also, we ate at our first diner today in Farmville Virginia. Yum. And encountered some really weird sculpted garden goat farm. All sculpted look like they were made from old farming tools. Gentlemen on the roadside said told me they were made by a man who died a few months ago, now his daughter had taken over.
