Day 20 Entered Tennessee today

Day total 76
Trip total 1,143

Watching the clouds burn off over the Applaichians as we cycled beneath them was magical this morning, as were the homemade biscuits and coffee we bought in Del Rio a town so small that the trucks top and the diner and one in the same.

Today was a realitively ease day of biking, lots of winding down hills and only 73 miles. It's amazing how quickly your body adjusts to whatever it is you ask it to do. At this point anything less than 100 miles feels like a "light" day. Over the next two days we will have to cover 200+ miles to get to Nashville so we are enjoying the rest while we can get it.

We got to Evans parents place in Corrytown (outside of Knoxville) early and in time for an incredible dinner. Jerry cooked us an upstate New York speciality called "speedies." Basically really good grilled quickly on shishkabo and eaten with white bread.

Tonight we rest (and look at dorky photos of Pluto released by NASA today) to gear up for two long days that will follow.
