Crazy that it has only been a bit over 3 weeks. It feels like we have been on the road forever. That day back in June when we dipped our tires in jp pond feels like so long ago.
We keep chugging along. Made it into and out of Kentucky (just as well) today and over what was by far the most terifing bridge of the trip into Illinois, where we are now camping and listening to some the cacophony ziccadia and frogs.

ReplyDeleteEvening weather report a few days ago announced the heat wave you are biking through in the south, and that is expected to continue for a few more days. Something about the Heat Index being 110. We did leave a Happy Anniversary comment under your Nashville Days post because it was the most recent one available at the time. How romantic--a kickstand as a wedding gift! That, perhaps, tops the vacuum cleaner my dad gave to Oma on their first wedding anniversary. Clearly their marriage survived 'cause you are now around to take the crown for the best wedding anniversary gift. Love to you both, Mary/mom
