Day 56: Takaka, Rock Climbing at Payne's Ford

We know we're leaving Takaka soon, so trying to get as much in as possible.

First, a recipe for making quite delicious crackers.  Add a bit of (but not too much) baking powder, and these would be nice and puffy, too.
I can't quite get my phone to focus on the rock walls...perhaps too many layers.  But we did get one last day of climbing in, and had our friend Ilva join us as well.  We are strongly considering having Molly's parents bring our shoes and harnesses, and heading somewhere in Australia/NZ/SE Asia to do more rock climbing in February.

The limestone, as mentioned before, is still great for climbing, and I'm getting better at "cleaning up", also known as getting your rope off the wall and you at the same time, without dying.  Next, I need to learn how to rappel/abseil.
